We’ve put together some answers to the questions we’re most often asked at Maison Pilates - if there’s anything else you’d like to know, just drop us a message.
We know life happens, but to keep things fair for everyone and to make sure spaces can be booked fairly, we ask that all cancellations are made in advance:
• 24 hours or more before class: You’ll keep your credit.
• 12–24 hours before class: You’ll lose your class credit.
• Within 12 hours of class start: You’ll lose your credit and be charged a £10 late cancellation fee.
This ensures spaces can be offered to other clients and classes run smoothly for everyone.
For the safety of our clients and to avoid disrupting the class, the studio doors close promptly at the start time. Unfortunately, if you arrive late, you won’t be able to join and your class credit will be lost. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to settle in.
Comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes are best so our instructors can check your alignment. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene (Maison Pilates socks are available in-studio). We’ll provide all the equipment you need - just bring yourself and some water.
Yes! We have a water dispenser for clients to use - just bring along your own water bottle to fill up before or after class.
Absolutely. We have lockers for you to safely store your valuables during class. Please note that items should not be left in the lockers beyond your class time.
Yes! All of our instructors have profiles available on our booking site and app, so you can get to know their style before booking. This way you can choose the instructor whose teaching approach you’d like to experience.
If you’re completely new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with 2–3 Essentials classes. From there, you can explore our Signature and Dynamic classes as you feel ready.
Our intro offers are designed to give new clients a chance to experience the studio. You can book onto any types of classes and a time that suits you. Once your intro offer is complete, you’ll have the option to move onto one of our class packs or subscriptions.
Subscriptions are designed for consistency and don’t automatically roll over. However, if you reach out to us at the end of the month, we may be able to help on a case-by-case basis.
Yes! We run specialist classes tailored for pre- and post-natal clients. These are designed to support your body safely through each stage. Always let your instructor know if you are pregnant or recently postpartum so we can tailor movements for you.
We recommend checking with your doctor before starting Pilates if you have any medical concerns. Please also let your instructor know about your injury so they can provide safe modifications.
